Mike Abdow, the owner and operator of Magic Charters, has been fishing for 50 years, most of them in the waters off Chatham. He is the captain of the fishing vessel Magic, a 36′ x 13′ RP that provides a very comfortable ride for a six-person charter trip. Leaving from the well-known Chatham Fish Pier in the summer and fall, and Chatham’s Stage Harbor in the spring, Mike is on the water almost every day for three seasons. His customers are never disappointed because Mike always knows where the fish are.

Whether it’s spring fishing for squid, porgies and sea bass, summer fishing for striped bass and bluefish or tuna and sharks, whale watching, fall fishing for tuna, for cod and haddock, or sea ducking in winter, you will appreciate Mike’s knowledge, experience and sense of humor.
His trips are a great way to spend a half or full day with the whole family. If you’ve never been fishing before, no experience is necessary; Mike is always happy to teach you, your child, your mom, and everyone on the trip how to catch a fish.
But if you’re an experienced fisherman, there are plenty of fish to be caught in the waters around Chatham, and, depending on which fish you are chasing, they are at most a 30 minute ride away. And if you haven’t chased a bluefin tuna, this is your opportunity! Bluefin tuna season, June through October 15th (ish), is the best time to be on the water on Cape Cod.
While Mike may not give away all his fishing secrets, he’ll take you to the best fishing spots where you’ll catch fish and have a fantastic time.
Mike is a fisherman, the kind of guy you would see on the TV show Wicked Tuna. The night before he had just returned from Georges Bank, [home of] the big bluefin tuna. – Excerpt from lake-link.com article
